West Bridgford Tuneless Choir
West Bridgford Tuneless Choir is still meeting on Zoom, with dates for the first few months of 2021:
- 7th and 21st January
- 4th and 18th February
- 4th and 18th March
Anyone is welcome to join our online sessions, you’ll generally find the link to the next one here: www.tunelesschoir.com/westbonline
It’s not pretty, but we can distract ourselves from the state of the planet with an hour of bad singing. Mostly to ourselves, but when red lyrics are shown we unmute and let joyous chaos reign!
If you have any questions please email email@example.com or call Jacqueline on 07956 753441.
THIS IS WHAT WE USED TO DO, AND HOPE TO GET BACK TO SOON!
The West Bridgford Tuneless Choir meets twice a month – usually (but not always) on the first and third Thursdays. Doors open around 7.30pm for an 8pm start at All Hallows Church in Lady Bay, NG2 5BP with sessions lasting until 9.30pm including a break.
It’s £10 for your first visit and registration, £8 thereafter. Or you can sign up for a term for the equivalent of £6 per session, usually £48 for 8 sessions. Cards are accepted, as well as cash.
We are invited to appear at various events throughout the year. There’s no requirement for any of our members to take part and “perform”, but many of our members who thought they’d never sing in public have found it to be great fun. We belt out popular classics, ask the crowd to join in, and they love our enthusiasm and carefree spirit.
Here’s one feature on us from the Nottingham Post: https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/local-news/west-bridgfords-tuneless-choir-people-2352134 and BBC Radio Nottingham have made this video of us.
If you can’t sing for toffee and would like to join us, please complete the form below. We’ll get in touch and let you know all you need – meeting dates, parking tips, etc. Then we’ll send you reminders ahead of each session. When you are ready to come along you can just turn up and say at the door that you are new.
If you do Facebook, you may want to follow our page for session reminders and to see what sort of things we get up to!
