Rotherham Tuneless Choir

We are now back singing in person – with safety precautions, and are looking forward to welcoming new members!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came to our relaunch on Monday 17th May, it was a great evening im sure you will agree with a great playlist of songs. Alex Stafford MP did a great job of helping me welcome all you lovely singers in and helped create a lovely atmosphere for the singing.

We meet every Monday, with breaks in the school holidays.

The choir sings popular songs from the sixties to the present day, without caring if all the right notes are in the right order. There are no parts, no judgement and no pressure to improve.

The “singing like now one is listening” takes place at Whiston Parish Hall, Well Lane, Whiston, Rotherham S60 4HX.

Extra parking is available at The Golden Ball pub, just round the corner.  This is via an agreement with the manager that members buy an occasional drink before or after the sessions following the pub’s Covid-19 guidelines.

Participants must be willing to follow our own Safety Procedures.

Each session runs from 7.30pm to 9pm, including a short break.

Anyone’s first session costs £10, including a small registration fee with the choir.  Then sessions are £8 on a “pay as you go” basis.   When you prebook a term in advance you will pay the equivalent of £6, so maybe £42 for 7 sessions.

If you are interested in joinging the choir and have any questions please contact Becky by calling: 07917728863 or emailing: rotherham@tunelesschoir.com
